Bad Day for the Blues

After a great morning in where the Blues traded Keith Ktachuk for some draft picks, they went out and completely stunk it up on Chicago's ice. They were never even in this game, they were behind 3-0 before the end of the first period. They were flat and completely out of it. Oh well, better luck on Tuesday.

My First Blog

Well to start off with, here's a little overview of myself. I'm basically a born and raised St. Louis feller, lived here for going on 27 years. I like many other feller's am a sports nut, especially the local teams. I love my Cards and Rams, but I live and die with my beloved St. Louis Blues, there is no better sport than hockey. I played soccer the majority of my life until numerous knee injuries(thanking indoor soccer and astroturf for that thank you very much) pretty much put an end to my athletic life. Like every one else in this world I've had my ups and downs, I come from a large close knit family, and I'm just trying to make it in this daily thing we call life.

I'm a huge movie buff as well, I prefer more of the darker tragedies, or the dry humor comedies. My favorite all time is The Crow(god love Brandon Lee, taken at way too young an age) and just about anything made by Tim Burton, especially the original Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, The Boondock Saints, and also anything with Jennifer Connelly(mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm) such as Dark City, A Beautiful Mind or my favorite as a kid Labyrinth. As far as the comedy stretch goes what kind of person would I be if I said I didn't love Tommy Boy, by far Chris Farley's best movie and really as far as I'm concerned not many really even come close. Also along those lines Happy Gilmore, Office Space, Major League, Big Trouble in Little China(good lord that one will never go out of style) The Waterboy, The Naked Gun(Leslie Nielson is a comedic genius) and of course the grand daddy of them all SpaceBalls.

Well that's just a quick synopsis of me, just to give you a little head start. I'll get much more in-depth with this after a little bit, but this is my first blog, and I'm in a bit of hurry.
